Good Morning! I hope you all enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend. It was so nice to be outside! The nice weather will definitely be good as we start testing week. Here are a few things to know for this week:

What We Are Learning:

This Week’s Bible Verse: Matthew 22:37-38 – Love the Lord your God with all your heart and will all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.

Spelling Words: There is no spelling test this week.

Odds and Ends:

Testing Week: We are kicking off testing this morning! Please make sure students are getting plenty of rest and eating well this week. We will do normal snacks this week, but on Tuesday students are free to bring an extra snack to eat in the morning.

Homework: There is no math and reading this week! I want to make sure everyone gets to enjoy the weather and gets a brain break each night. The only homework this week is our Bible verse.

Spring Program: The spring concert is next Thursday! More details to come but as usual please make sure boys are wearing nice pants and collared shirts and girls are wearing skirts, dresses, or nice pants. Everyone is expected to be there!

Field Trip: Our class field trip is May 23rd! More details coming this week.

Book Fair: The school book fair is next week! We will be doing a preview day on Monday as a class. The book fair will be open during the school days and after the spring program on Thursday.

Mid-terms: Midterms are going home on Friday. Grades will be updated during the week. Please keep that in mind as you check progressbook.

I think that is it!
